I was in charge of coding

Most of my work is for print but sometimes I take a job for coding web pages(HTML/XHTML/CSS). I do web designing(you can see one here) but the picture on the left is what I coded for an American company. They run a medical portal site as well and I worked on some of those pages too. Unfortunately, you can not see them because the site is for members only. I’ve been knowing this web designer for a long time and I’m always impressed by her stylish&intelligent designing.

So, I’m going to post them to “Works” category of this blog.

The image left are for my client in Osaka. They decided to advertise their product on a UK industry magazine. I didn’t get much time to make this ad and this is my first time to deal with a foreign magazine house. It got me worried. Because they had a written directive about the data format etc., I didn’t have any trouble, fortunately.

By the way, I’ve been going to a drawing class. It’s been more than 10 years since I drew plaster casts last time! Drawing boldly and densely is what I’m not good at at the moment.

UK Strollers-UK travel guide for Japanese tourists

I’ve completely forgot to mention that my hobby site was refurbished.

The site was build with WordPress so that I can post and modify articles easily. Converting an ordinary HTML website into WordPress blog was tiring and time consuming but I’m satisfied with the outcome. Easy to post articles, easy maintenance… I’m really happy!

　 I design a brochure once a year for my client and this is for my 7th year. Have you ever heard Orikomi? In Japan, newspaper is delivered to each houses( you need to contract to a newspaper company obviously ). You’ll find a great amount of advertisement leaflets tucked between newspaper!

So, this brochure is about the advertisement leaflets and contains useful data and information for advertisers. There are lots of graphs but the research items are not changed very much for years, However, the cover design has changed greatly. I made it simple last year thinking that it suit for this kind of statistical survey brochure. I wonder which colour should I use nest year?
